BLAZE HEATHER
Blaze is noted for it’s tiny lavender blooms. In the fall the foliage turns deep red.
Commonly known as Scotch Heather, Calluna vulgaris are low growing perennial shrubs that are useful as ground covers or in rock gardens. Heathers are a nice complement to dwarf conifers and deciduous shrubs. More slightly taller varieties are also suited to mass plantings on hillsides. Plant in free-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
